Know clearly what our financial terms of service are

It is of most importance to us that you get the holiday we have said we will provide for you and the services that you expect. This is why we strive to be crystal clear regarding our terms of service and our obligations towards each other. If you have any doubt regarding our policies please contact us, however unimportant the issue may seem to you now. We will be happy to answer any query you have. 

Sailblazer Yachting Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your holiday, for whatever reason, you will need to send your cancellation request to Sailblazer Yachting in writing via email (info@sailblazer.com) and we will in turn advise you based on your departure date. Please note what you are obliged to pay and what we can refund in teh following circumstances: 

Time of Cancellation (Notification to Sailblazer Yachting in Writing)

1 to 35 days prior to departure the charterer is required to pay 100% of total charter price.
36 to 90 days prior to departure the charterer is required to pay 50% of total charter price. So, if you have paid 50% deposit within this time period you will not be obliged to pay anymore and neither will we be obliged to refund you your deposit.
91 days or more prior to departure the charterer is required to pay 25% of total charter price. So, If you have paid 50% of the deposit by this time we will refund you half of that amount.

Cancellation of Crew arrangements (Skipper/Hostess):
If notice of cancellation is given 1 to 35 days prior to departure 25% of agreed services price is due.

No-Show Cancellation:
100% of all amounts including charter price, mandatory/optional extras and any crew is due.

The Sailblazer Cancellation Guarantee

In any event of cancellation, Sailblazer guarantees that in case the yacht is re-let, for the same charter period and under the same conditions, all amounts received will be reimbursed to Charterer net of a processing fee of Euro 300.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The charterer cannot join the trip, but the rest of us still
want to go. Is this okay?

A: Yes, just notify us about this so we can make the necessary changes in your existing booking. If charterer is the skipper too we can hire a skipper for your group instead.

Refunds

Other than the situations described above in our cancellation policy, we only return payments when the yacht we rent to you is not legally or physically possible to begin the charter. We do not offer refunds in the case that the yacht we have rented to you or any of the equipment on board fails, but is still physically and legally possible to travel. In the event that the yacht is not physically or legally possible to travel and it is clearly our fault, we will offer you a refund percentage based on the percentage of time your charter is cut short.
 
We are not obligated to offer refunds due to weather or external circumstances out of our control. We may however offer discounts on future charters.
